The band BAP around Wolfgang Niedecken is playing a big tour of Germany in 2024. There are some classics to be heard under the motto “Time Travel 81/82”.
Cologne – As is the case at concerts, fans are of course happy to hear new pieces from the respective band – but most of them come because of old hits that may take them back to their youth or childhood. In the case of BAP, many of these hits can be found on the albums “Für Usszeschnigge” (1981) and “Vun Drinne Noh Drusse” (1982) – which is why the band is going big again with these two successful works in 2024, over 40 years after their release Germany tour goes.
The “Zeitreise 81/82” tour will take the band around singer Wolfgang Niedecken through the entire country in November and December 2024, and there will also be a stopover in Switzerland. The finale will be a concert on December 13th (of course) in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne-Deutz (city center district). And because the rush for tickets for this exceeded all the band’s expectations, an additional show in the “Henkelmännchen” was announced on October 12th for December 12th.

“In the last few days, there have been increasing inquiries about the tour dates of the planned, nationwide time travel tour,” the band announced on Instagram in September, after they had repeatedly played hits from the two double platinum albums at previous concerts. Much to the delight of many die-hard BAP fans. “I can reassure you, our Schaetti is working feverishly to book the halls and create the most crew-friendly routing possible,” it continued on Instagram.
A short time later this happened, the tour and then even an additional show for Cologne were announced. The ticket provider Eventim has already published all tour dates for the upcoming tour in 2024.

Advance sales start for BAP’s “Zeitreise 81/82” tour (general advance sales): is already running
If you want to secure tickets for the tour by Niedecken, who turned 70 in 2021, and his band, you can get them on Wednesday, September 27th. Because then advance sales for the over 30 tour dates in the coming year will begin via Eventim Presale. The official presale begins on Friday, September 29th. Nothing is yet known about the prices for tickets; These are unlikely to be published until pre-sales start on September 27th. By the way, BAP is not the only Cologne band playing at the “Henkelmännchen” in 2024: Cat Ballou will perform twice in the Lanxess Arena in October 2024.
