Wali Kota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked for time regarding the offer to join the National Winning Team Reward President (TPN GP). Ganjar said that Gibran and his family have personal rights in democracy.
As a country that adheres to a democratic system, Ganjar said, every citizen has the right to voice their opinions and aspirations freely. According to him, it was natural for Gibran to ask for time to decide whether to accept the offer to join TPN Ganjar or not.
“Oh, they have personal rights in this democracy,” said Ganjar to journalists at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Thursday (12/10/2023).

As previously reported, Gibran admitted that he was offered to join the Presidential Prize National Winning Team (TPN GP) by Arsjad Rasjid. Gibran asked for time regarding the offer to join the Presidential Prize National Winning Team (TPN GP). He wanted to consult with the family.
“Yesterday I gave an answer (to TPN GP Chairman Arsjad Rasjid), I asked for time to consult with the family first, huh,” said Gibran when met at Solo City Hall, Thursday (12/10/2023).
Gibran has not taken up this offer because he will still consult with party officials, such as Puan Maharani and PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.
“Yesterday Mr. Arsjad asked to join TPN GP, but once again I also had to consult with other chairs, meaning Mbak Puan, Mrs. General Chair (Megawati Soekarnoputri),” he said.
Gibran admitted that he would face the TPN Chairman Ganjar President, Arsjad Rasjid. Gibran will speak with Arsjad regarding the invitation to join TPN Ganjar President.
“Later I will face him again for that matter, the point is I will face him again,” he said.
