With the budget for a studio in Paris, you can double the surface area of ​​the accommodation, or even much more in certain cities, by buying in the provinces.

Paris still displays a price around €10,000 per m². If you want to buy a studio, you have to pay €267,000 on average. But for this price, you can have a 206 m² apartment in Saint-Étienne or even a 100 m² apartment in a ski resort, according to the real estate advertising site Pap.fr. Overview of what you can buy.

€267,000 on average for a studio in Paris

Over-represented in Paris, the studio, a one-room apartment of around 25 m², is in high demand, particularly for making a real estate investment.

Despite the recent drop in prices, the capital remains as expensive as ever, with the median price of a studio in Paris standing at €267,000. The cheapest district is La Chapelle (€203,900) and the most expensive Odéon (€400,000).

“Buying a studio in Paris will give you the certainty of owning a property that will lose no or very little value,” indicates the Pap.fr website. There is no safer investment. But there is no more expensive investment. »

Most French metropolises offer high prices, but nothing compared to those in Paris. According to Pap.fr, in most cases, we at least double the surface area, as in Lyon (52 m²), Bordeaux (57 m²) or Aix-en-Provence (57 m²).
