The artist did not want people to cry about her.
Today, October 11, farewell takes place in Kyiv with People’s Artist of Ukraine Ninoy Matvienko.
As we previously told, on the last journey the legend is seen off at the National Philharmonic Ukraine, the queue next to which stretches for hundreds of meters, right up to Grushevsky Street. The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, singer Dmitry Monatik and his wife, and TNMK member Oleg Fagot Mikhailyuta came to say goodbye to the artist.
During the farewell, Nina Mitrofanovna’s daughter, singer Tonya Matvienko, spoke with the journalists present at the farewell and told them about her mother’s last will.
Barely holding back tears, Matvienko noted that her mother did not want anyone to cry at her funeral:
“She was my example. She has a very big heart. She is Ukraine. Thank you for making such a contribution to Ukraine. I will listen to her songs and know that she is nearby. Thank her for everything. She really asked that “No one cried at the funeral. I asked them to remember something good,” Matvienko said.
Let us recall that earlier Nina Matvienko’s granddaughter, 25-year-old Ulyana, admitted that she never called Nina Mitrofan’s grandmother, but rather Nina. Also Ulyana I was stunned by the resemblance to my grandmotherwhich she showed in her youth in an archival photo.
