Honda has new technology for motorbikes. Now, the Japanese automotive manufacturer has released the Honda E-Clutch for motorbikes. This system makes clutch operation easier.
Honda E-Clutch is claimed to be the world’s first automatic clutch control system for a manual transmission motorbike. This system allows smooth starting, as well as gear shifting and stopping without the need to press the clutch lever.
The Honda E-Clutch uses electronic control technology to provide instant, fine-tuned clutch control for optimal performance in situations where drive forces change. Entering gear, shifting gears until stopping can be done smoothly. The rider does not need to pull the clutch lever.

However, to meet various rider needs, the clutch can be operated like a manual motorbike in general by holding the clutch lever, even though the clutch is controlled electronically.

“Even with electronic clutch control, the driver can operate the clutch in the same way as in a regular manual transmission vehicle by simply holding down the clutch lever. By accommodating a wide range of rider experience and driving skills, this allows the driver to comfortably concentrate on the pleasure of driving.” call Honda.
This E-Clutch system allows it to be used by more riders with diverse riding experience and skills. So, the driver can concentrate on the pleasure of driving more comfortably.
Due to the system’s lightness and compactness, it can be installed without major changes to the existing machine layout. Honda plans to apply the Honda E-Clutch to several of its motorbike lines over time.
