WhatsApp Developing Third-Party Chats Feature for Cross-Platform Messaging

TRIBUNPONTIANAK.CO.ID – The WhatsApp company is reportedly developing a new feature that allows users to send messages to different social media platforms.

The newest WhatsApp feature is called Third-Party Chats.

The Third-Party Chats feature will allow users to add accounts from other chat applications to WhatsApp.

Once an account is added, users can send messages to that account directly from WhatsApp.

This Third-Party Chats feature is still in the development stage by WhatsApp, but has been seen several times in the WhatsApp beta application for Android.

Even so, not all WhatsApp users can see the appearance of the Third-Party Chats feature.

Reported by TribunPontianak.co.id from the WABetaInfo page, in the latest beta version of WhatsApp, you can see a new page called “Third-party Chats” (Messages from third-party applications).

This column is still empty and cannot be accessed by users, because it is still in the development stage.

This Third-Party Chats feature will allow users to add accounts from other Chat applications to WhatsApp.

Once an account is added, users can send messages to that account directly from WhatsApp.

Third-Party Chats will certainly be a breath of fresh air for WhatsApp users.

The reason is, currently WhatsApp users can only send messages to other WhatsApp users.

With the Third-Party Chats feature, WhatsApp users can communicate with other Chat application users, without having to switch applications.
