Live: The performance of European stocks varied at the end of trading today, Wednesday, with markets assessing the rise in producer price inflation in the United States more than expected during September, coinciding with a slowdown in inflationary pressures in the largest euro zone economies.
The European Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.15% to 453.1 points, and gains were limited by losses in the energy and technology sectors.
While the German “DAX” index rose approximately 0.25%, recording 15,460 points, the French “CAC” fell 0.45%, at 7,131 points, and the British “FTSE 100” fell by 0.1%, at 7,620 points.
