On October 11, Nghe An Provincial Police and Nam Dan District Police Department are still investigating the murder that occurred in Yen Qua hamlet, Hung Tien commune.
The victim is Mr. Hoang The Thang (55 years old), a police officer and deputy head of Yen Qua hamlet.

Before that, around 7:30 p.m. on the night of October 10, a fight occurred, causing disorder and loss of security and order in Yen Qua hamlet. People called Yen Qua hamlet police.
Mr. Thang reported to his superiors and then went to the scene to verify information and resolve the case.
However, here, Mr. Thang was attacked from behind by a man. Mr. Thang collapsed and was taken to the emergency room, but his injuries were too severe and he died.
Leaders of Hung Tien Commune People’s Committee and Nam Dan District People’s Committee said the case is being further investigated by the police. The local government is working with the family to take care of Mr. Thang’s funeral arrangements.
