JawaPos.com – Oppo has again announced the launch of their newest A Series smartphone, namely the A18, in Indonesia. Equipped with a large 5,000 mAh battery and powered by MediaTek Helio G85 combined with quite large RAM and internal storage, the Oppo A18 is claimed to provide smooth performance and long-lasting battery life.
“This device offers a 90 Hz Sunlight screen and Ultra-Volume Mode which combine perfectly to provide an extraordinary experience for everyday use and immersive entertainment,” explained Oppo in its statement.
Oppo A18 comes in two stylish colors, namely glowing blue and glowing black. The back cover on both variants uses the Oppo Glow technique to provide a sparkling appearance and produces a fingerprint-resistant matte finish with dazzling details.
The Oppo A18 also inherits the iconic Retro Ultra-Slim design which was also found on the previous OPPO A series. With a premium 2D design, this device feels very comfortable when held, the slim appearance comes thanks to a thickness of around 8.16 mm and a weight of around 188 grams.

Oppo A18 introduces the latest Sunlight 90Hz display technology which can deliver brightness up to 720 nits in high brightness mode. This display allows users to view content on the screen easily, even when in direct sunlight.
In addition, the Oppo A18 is equipped with a 6.56 inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 96 percent DCI-P3 color gamut providing bright, immersive colors and smooth visuals. Oppo A18 also comes with All-Day AI Eye Comfort which minimizes eye strain and makes the viewing experience comfortable even for long periods of time.
In terms of photography features, the Oppo A18 is equipped with an 8 MP main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera to capture clear, natural and bright images. Both cameras work together with Oppo’s portrait algorithm to provide impressive bokeh light spots in the background and highlight subjects in portrait mode.

With a 5 MP front camera, the Oppo A18 provides stunning selfies and video call quality that is claimed to be clear. With the Portrait Retouching feature, users have the option to adjust the beauty level to achieve a smooth and natural effect, both on the front and rear cameras.
On the inside, the Oppo A18 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85, delivering smooth and efficient performance. With the Dynamic Computing Engine, the smooth, long-lasting performance of the OPPO A18 has been verified through a 36-month Fluency Protection test carried out in the Oppo laboratory ensuring a long service life.
The Oppo A18 comes with a 4 GB RAM configuration with 128 GB ROM, and RAM Expansion technology to convert free ROM space into up to 4 GB RAM to keep the device running smoothly during heavy operations.
