Gangseo-gu Mayor By-election in Seoul: Voting Process, Results, and Candidates

The final voting results, including the early voting conducted on the 6th and 7th, are expected to be released around midnight.

The advance voting rate for this Gangseo-gu mayor election, which recorded 22.64%, was the highest among all local elections and by-elections.

Previously, the ruling and opposition parties appealed to rally support for their party’s candidates yesterday (9th), the last day of the election campaign.

There are a total of six candidates for this Gangseo-gu mayor by-election, including Jin Kyo-hoon of the Democratic Party, Kim Tae-woo of the People Power Party, Kwon Soo-jeong of the Justice Party, Kwon Hye-in of the Progressive Party, Kim Yu-ri of the Green Party, and Go Young-il of the Liberty Unification Party (above in order of preference).
