Libreville, Tuesday October 10, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The first lady of Gabon, Zita Oligui Nguema, spoke with a delegation from the Red Cross who came to tell her about the mobilization on the ground against these pathologies.
Launched on 1is Last October, the Pink October campaign made headway in the fight against female cancers. For this purpose, the first lady of Gabon received the president of the local Red Cross to assess the level of involvement of this structure in this noble cause. Dr. Véronique Tsakoura thus indicated to Zita Oligui Nguema the mobilization of 3 thousand volunteers for the awareness caravan on female cancers which will begin in Lambaréné from October 11 to 14, 2023.
The hosts of the wife of the Head of State took the opportunity to award her a certificate as honorary president of the Gabonese Red Cross. A presentation to the wife of the Head of State of the activities of the NGO and its future projects was also made to her.
