Mason Greenwood finally scored again after not feeling it for two years. Greenwood didn’t seem to be celebrating, he seemed to have mixed feelings.
Getafe visit Celta Vigo’s home ground in continuation Spanish League, Sunday (9/10) evening WIB. The final score was tied at 2-2.
Mason Greenwood, who played as a starter, contributed one goal. Greenwood scored a goal in the 33rd minute. It started with Diego Rico’s movement into the penalty box, then gave a pass which Greenwood managed to maximize flawlessly.
Reporting from The Sun, Mason Greenwood finally scored again after 628 days. The striker’s last goal was scored while still playing for Manchester United on January 19 2022 in MU’s 3-1 win over Brentfrod.
Unfortunately for him, after that he was frozen by the Red Devils. That was because of Greenwood’s alleged violence and abuse towards his girlfriend.
Greenwood was then absent from the gridiron and had to undergo trial after trial. Ultimately, the 22 year old player was not found guilty.
In order to save his career, Mason Greenwood then accepted the offer Getafe with a season-long loan scheme. After scoring the goal, Greenwood’s actions stole the attention.
Greenwood didn’t appear to be celebrating. Greenwood just walked to the corner of the field, then was hugged by his teammates.
Football fans think that Greenwood may have mixed feelings. Finally, he proved that he was still quite talented.
