The Failure of Policing at the Eternal Derby: A Dangerous Game

A few years ago at the eternal derby, a policewoman was burned, and quite badly, by a fired rocket. It’s all over and gone. On Saturday, her colleagues decided that the game was the best time to stand with their hands in their pockets while the same rockets flew at both campaigners. To women, children, adults.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, everything is fine. Dry report after the match, 16 arrests and so on. Two caught with prohibited pyrotechnics?! People, he will become crippled before your eyes! Or as they say, you are responsible for order, not disorder, right?

How, with such a “strict” pass regime, did these things enter the stadium? Let someone take the responsibility and explain. To the ordinary firefighter who was injured by a rocket.

There are always excuses. Someone will announce that they are in with the choreography. Then why didn’t you check the choreography, people? It’s not that complicated.

If they are imported through the entrances, even worse for you. Otherwise, you can pretend to be interesting to the journalists and confuse them as if they are importing the rockets. If so, announce it to everyone. To know which colleagues to beware of.

How complicated is it to really have policing during matches? Especially the derby. It is hardly such a severe and insurmountable problem. Well, at least keep your colleague if you don’t want the others. They’re zealots, some other kind of people. At least for yours, watch and act.

Soon, we can expect the introduction of anti-aircraft missile defense systems to one of the home stadiums. For those who don’t know, it’s a semi-guided missile. Or a howitzer for easier.

The BFS is also at fault with its half-hearted punishments depending on the team. Years ago, the CSKA stadium was closed due to a coin tossed at an official, as is the official term. Now, for the same case, the stadium in Plovdiv was first closed, but then the appeal committee reduced the penalty. Alert what is this for? That there are our clubs as well as ours. In that case, why not throw and mint? Who cares.

The culprits are the clubs, who have been looking for a way to keep the police out of the stadium for years. They had security guards, stewards. BLA bla. I can confirm that the rockets were inserted right through them.

Now they will pay the fine, and the BFS will spend the money on some banquet. And the madness will continue.

Now someone will grumble that actually the fans are the ones to blame for bringing these things into the stadium. There is logic in this as well, but the Bulgarian people have said that the one who eats the pie is not crazy, but the one who gives it to him. The campaigners bring in what they are allowed to. Even without the clubs knowledge. But perhaps with the knowledge of someone in uniform who closed his eyes during the inspection.

The people killed in their home stadiums were quickly forgotten. Because there were some. It is probably now that another tragedy is tactically avoided in order to take some measures. But for thrown objects with consequences, the fine is BGN 3,000. Death is also a consequence. We can only pray that we don’t run into her again. Because it’s simply not worth it for such football as the eternal derby.
