Liverpool player Luis Diaz commented for the first time about his disallowed goal in the Tottenham match last week.

The match witnessed controversy due to the cancellation of a goal scored by Luis Diaz in the first half, due to offside, which was later proven to be incorrect, and the referees committee admitted that an error had occurred.
Luis Diaz said in statements published by the English newspaper “Daily Mail”: “The issue of the goal was a bit complicated. At that time, things shocked me greatly, not only for me, but for all my teammates.”
He continued: “At halftime, we talked about it a lot, as a positive result would have helped us. These things happen.”
He concluded by saying: “Referees are human beings, you have to take things easy and move on.”
