This Volkswagen Touareg is a real wolf in sheep’s clothing. The copy ordered by Dr. Ferdinand Olivier Porsche takes the best of each of the company’s brands, although it was not a cheap experiment.
If your family has been involved in fast cars for years, but you want something that’s unobtrusive, there’s no better choice than the Touareg. Dr. Porsche received such a copy in October 2017, of course with a V8 engine and a glass roof, and… immediately sent it to the German tuner Motoren Technik Mayer, i.e. MTM.
The MTM team installed a unit from the Audi RS6 (four-liter V8) and added a handful of modifications – a larger turbo, new control electronics, a more efficient intercooler and a sports exhaust. The end result is 802 HP.
In addition, the owner requested a color change to one from the Porsche Paint to Sample palette – Oakgreen. The interior is made of Havana brown leather and a lot of wood (although the board itself is not impressive). MTM wished for the modifications themselves 350 thousand euro (today it is PLN 1.5 million).
The Touareg currently has 78,000 miles on it. km and is in the collection of the third owner. He, in turn, will give it back for PLN 110,000. euro (approx. half a million zlotys). The announcement can be found on the website classicdriver.com
