The government is supporting the energetic development of the Vác city swimming pool with an additional HUF 47.8 million, Bence Rétvári, the region’s parliamentary representative, announced on his social media page. From the investment, it is possible to purchase a solar panel system, so that the maintenance costs of the swimming pool will decrease in the future.
We previously reported that the state supported the Vác swimming pool with 23 million forints in the first round, and later with 45 million forints. The sports facility could use this amount for its winter operation and to settle utility bills.
In addition to the HUF 68 million received in this way, the Vác swimming pool will now receive a subsidy of HUF 47.8 million, from which it is possible to purchase a solar panel system, so it is expected that the maintenance costs of the sports facility will decrease in the future.
