On the occasion of the comments made by the mayor of Volos on TV, on the evening of the local elections, the presenter made a short post on his personal Facebook account.
In it, he refers to those who continue to invite Achilles Beo on their shows, while on the other hand they express their disgust for his views, as well as their strong opposition.
In the post made by Antonis Kanakis, he states: “A system that consciously chooses to non-stop air the “Beys” of this world, with the sole purpose of turning their racist/sexist/homophobic statements into a TV show, then states ” shocked” by these statements”.
It is recalled that in the context of his speech after his re-election to the mayorship of Vollos, Achilleas Beos said, among other things:
“I, as a person, am the one you know, I speak the language of truth, I look you in the eyes and face all the problems and I express myself freely as our Constitution says. I am one of you. Greece was ruled by doctors and lawyers, they impoverished our country and the Greek people and, instead of the journalists standing up to the facts, they deal with Kasselakis. What do you mean… we adopt children and produce where… see? Hey, this is my hometown, huh? How progressive are you, huh?’
