The project to build a children’s hospital in Burgas enjoys my full support. It was the same during the caretaker government. I am convinced, because I know the ambitions and possibilities of the university “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” and the local authorities, that while in Sofia they are thinking about where and how to build the hospital, Burgas will already have the first national children’s hospital.
This was said by President Rumen Radev, who today visited Burgas, where he participated in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”. The celebration is held under the patronage of the head of state. He was accompanied by his wife Desislava Radeva.
The President greeted the guests at the solemn concert on the occasion of the anniversary and awarded the higher school with a plaque “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”.
