Baldur’s Gate III Introduces Customizable Mercenary Appearance and Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Making-of Video for Metal Knight Boots

The 9th hotfix for “Baldur’s Gate III” was recently released, which introduces the ability to change the appearance of mercenaries, and as expectations are high for the upcoming release of the Japanese version, this game has newly added metal knight boots ( A making-of video of the walking sound that sounds when equipped with Sabaton) has been found and has become a hot topic.

This was revealed in a video released in mid-August by Baldur’s Gate III senior sound designer Glenn Gullskjegg Goa. In order to create realistic walking sounds, Glenn Gullskjegg Goa actually learned blacksmithing, made several sabatons himself, and recorded the sounds of walking on various types of ground.

This is a combination of sounds such as the sound of peeling off duct tape from a window glass, the sound of rubbing Styrofoam, and several other sounds.
