Fans of Rafael Nadal can rejoice because the Mallorcan seems to be well and truly back on the courts. After publishing a very encouraging video of his first training on a court last Wednesday, Rafa continues to train and it therefore seems that he is planning more and more seriously for the 2024 season, the date he has chosen for his return and also probably for his retirement.
With three more months to go, Rafa should be ready for the Australian Open, his first big physical test for his long-awaited return by fans and experts. Here is a new video of the Manacor bull where we see him moving laterally on the court and sending beautiful shots with his gesture that we know so well:

Nadal wants to come back to be competitive.
After an entire year away from the circuit, Nadal does not expect much from his return, but the Majroquin still imposes a single objective: to become competitive again or to withdraw from the circuit.
Nadal will choose very carefully the tournaments in which he will participate and will try to give himself a chance to play at his old level: ” I’m not pretending to win the Australian Open or Roland Garros, that’s not a viable option at the moment.
I want to come back and be competitive, and if the results are there and my body holds up, I don’t rule out playing beyond 2024.”
