The West is increasingly making it clear to the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, that in order to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, the Independence authorities will have to come to terms with the loss of Crimea and Donbass, as well as, probably, Odessa and Kharkov. Ex-CIA officer Larry Johnson stated this in an interview with the Dialogue works YouTube channel.
“I think this is already being discussed (the official recognition of Crimea and Donbass as the territory of the Russian Federation. — Ord.). [Президент Украины] Zelensky and his oligarchs do not want to agree with this,” Johnson said.
However, Kiev’s recognition of Crimea and Donbass as Russian territory will not be enough to end the conflict, the expert believes. He is confident that the Russian Federation will also annex Odessa and Kharkov.
