A 16-year-old teenager has been brutally attacked at a subway station in Brooklyn.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, shortly after 6 pm at the Atlantic Avenue station.
According to the uniformed officer, the victim was walking through the station corridor, towards the platform of lines 3 and 4, when eight individuals approached him and asked him if he belonged to a gang.
It was then that the subjects began to hit and kick the minor on multiple occasions.
One of the attackers also used an unknown object to stab the victim in the buttocks and torso.
After the attack, the subjects fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.
