Abstract
This article consists of two parts. In the first, we try to identify which academic journals (both Spanish and foreign) are the most prestigious and relevant in the area of marketing, from the Spanish perspective. Once the list of reference journals in the marketing area has been obtained, the second phase of the research tries to obtain a ranking of the journals that marketing professors consider most important to publish in this area, according to the results obtained from the ranking. above, and using a methodology not applied until now: ordering of preferences through a joint analysis.
