Autumn in the Pontine province is mild, the days are shorter but it is always pleasant to be outdoors and enjoy events, excursions and various types of initiatives. As always in Latina and its province, for those who want to have fun in an original way and relax, there is plenty of choice. If you don’t already have plans, here are some suggestions.
Demonstrations
There will be many events this weekend that celebrate the excellent products of the area, its history and more. In Sermoneta there is the now traditional re-enactment of the Battle of Lepanto, while between Valvisciolo and Bassiano a historic car race is remembered, in Roccagorga a symbolic fruit of autumn is celebrated with the Strawberry Grape Festival, while in Aprilia it is celebrated street food with International Street Food. Autunno alla Landriana, the event for horticultural lovers, is held in the splendid Landriana garden.
Guided tours
There are also many excursions, guided tours, walks and workshops to learn more about places of culture, museums, gardens and parks. Among these is the F@mu Famiglie al Museo exhibition in Priverno, again for adults and children, a nature walk is planned at Mola della Corte in Fondi, guided visits to Sermoneta on the occasion of the historical re-enactment and the last weekends of openings of the Garden of Ninfa and the Garden of Landriana.
