Controversy Surrounding Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Leo’ Trailer: Woman Leader Accuses Film of Defaming Women

Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj team’s ‘Leo’ is the much awaited film by the moviegoers. The trailer of the film was released last day. The trailer with mass action is still trending. But now a woman leader in Tamil Nadu has come out against the trailer. Anaith Makkal Aracial party leader Rajeshwari Priya has come forward alleging that the Leo trailer defamed women.

Rajeshwari alleges that Vijay Leo has spoken in the trailer to defame women. The dialogue in the scene where Vijay is talking to Trisha has angered Rajeshwari. Did Vijay consciously act in Leo? Vijay’s use of bad word(1.46min) has lowered his standards a lot. Does the winner have a derogatory word for women? We express our strong opposition against Vijay who misleads his fans. Lokesh Kanagaraj is an unqualified director. Rajeshwari Priya has tweeted that the film world should come forward against this.

After the super hit Vikram, Leo is directed by Lokesh and after Waris, Vijay stars in the film. Arjun, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Mathew, Babu Antony and many other stars are lined up in the film.
