Kochi: The body of a missing person in the Munambam boat accident has been found. The dead body of Mohan, a native of Malipuram, was found. The search for the two is going on. The body of Sarath, a native of Malipuram, was received this morning.
Mohanan’s body was found after this afternoon. The body has now been shifted to Ernakulam General Hospital.
They went missing in an accident on Thursday evening. The search conducted on Thursday and Friday failed to find anyone’s body. A search for the other two is underway led by fishermen and the Coastal Police.
Three people were rescued from the boat with seven people on Thursday night. A search was made for the four missing persons but to no avail. The outside world comes to know about the accident hours later.
Saji Cherian said that there was no harm in the rescue operation. Due to rough seas, the rescue operation is facing a little difficulty.
