Within the scope of domestic referral, a protocol for the treatment and rehabilitation of drug and alcohol addicts was signed between the Ministry of Health and Pink Mansion Psychiatric Hospital.
At the ceremony held at the Ministry, the protocol was signed by the Minister of Health, Hakan Dinçyürek, and the Chief Physician of the Pembe Köşk Psychiatric Hospital, Prof. Dr. Signed by Mehmet Çakıcı.
With the protocol signed between the Ministry of Health and the Pink Mansion Psychiatric Hospital, drug addicts can now be referred to the Pink Mansion for treatment.
Stating that the protocol is an important step in the treatment and rehabilitation of drug and alcohol addicted patients, Minister Dinçyürek stated that a psychiatrist appointed by the Ministry will go to the center once a week, examine the patient’s condition on-site, follow the course of the treatment, and regular weekly reports will be submitted to the Ministry.
Dinçyürek emphasized that they are determined to combat addictions in the country and reintegrate addicted patients into society.
Dinçyürek said that the commissioning of another center and its integration into the society constitutes an additional ray of hope for the country in the treatment of addicted patients.
