The delegation’s plane landed early in the afternoon in Shanghai, the economic capital of China. Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer was greeted upon his arrival by US Ambassador Nicholas Burns. This trip to China comes at a time when a meeting with his American counterpart is planned.
