EThe otherwise rather less serious members of the Neunkirchen carnival guild are occupied with a serious topic: actors are still being sought for the guild meetings in January. But the “fools” also need blood refreshment in other ways.
“Yes, we have a staff shortage and would like to not always have to bring the actors and artists from other regions for our meetings,” say guild president Michael Tanzler and his deputy Susanne Fuchs. We are looking for people who want to entertain the audience on stage. “Whether with cabaret, jokes or tricks. We just need a blood refresher before we run out of juice,” they say. The two meetings are planned for January 12th and 13th in the Chamber of Labor event center. Because the year 2024 is not an unimportant one for the district capital, as the key to becoming the state fool’s capital will be accepted on November 11th next year. And this is the third time.
This year, of course, the traditional fool’s awakening will take place again on November 11th at 5:11 p.m. on Neunkirchen’s main square. By the way, also with a traditional couple of princes: “Because Catherine III. and Elias I will extend their reign by one year,” Tanzler and Fuchs are already looking forward to the coming carnival season.
