Inter Miami created hype around their own team with the summer signing of Lionel Messi (36). While the club and the MLS as a league benefit from the arrival of the world champion, the mood in the fan camp is apparently slowly changing.
The reason for this is the increased ticket prices that came with the recruitment of stars like Messi, Sergio Busquets (35) and Jordi Alba (34). However, many supporters show no understanding for this.
“My season ticket was $485, now it’s $884,” said one fan on Twitter, apparently speaking from the hearts of many Miami supporters. “We still don’t have a real stadium! Improving the quality of the game doesn’t justify an 82 percent price increase.”
The user definitely hits a sore spot. Miami currently has to play its home games in Fort Lauderdale, 40 kilometers away, because its own arena will not be completed until 2025. In order to see their new stars, fans also have to incur additional costs when traveling.

Inter Miami before the next coup: Lionel Messi wants Luka Modric
The cost of season tickets could rise again next year due to another royal transfer. According to Predrag Mijatovic (54), Inter is currently working on a transfer for Luka Modric (38).
“He has offers from the USA, from many teams and this particular one,” the former Real Madrid player revealed to Cadena Ser radio station in reference to Inter Miami. “Messi personally cares a lot about the opportunity to play with him. Modric met with Beckham in Croatia a few days ago.”
Luka Modric is only under contract with Los Blancos until the summer of 2024. The five-time Champions League winner could then move to Florida for a free transfer and work magic together with Lionel Messi.
