The company S’Aimer dans les orties (Nancy) presents a contemporary theater show alone on stage where, for an hour, texts and songs punctuate an engaged cabaret, according to Speech to the Nation by Ascanio Celestini, published by Editions Noir et Blanc. In the form of embodied monologues, or tales brought to the public, these are short stories and cynical statements from the powerful, giving us a scathing lecture on the state of our neoliberal societies.
Alexis Barbier is an actor and musician. He works with theater and circus companies and is a composer, drummer and rapper.
