Five Indonesian Representatives in the Quarter-Finals of the 2023 World Junior Championship

Indonesia passed five representatives to the quarter-finals 2023 World Junior Championships. Following are the names of the Indonesian representatives who passed.

Indonesia still has a chance to win the title in four numbers. The four numbers are men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles.

In the men’s singles event, Alwi Farhan is the focus of winning the title. Alwi will face badminton player from China, Wang Zi Jun.

Meanwhile, in the women’s singles event, Indonesia can still hope for Chiara Marvella Handoyo. Chiara will have a tough match against the first seed from Japan, Tomoka Miyazaki.

In the men’s doubles number, Muhammad Al Farizi/Nikolaus Joaquin managed to advance to the quarter-finals. Al Farizi/Joaquin, who are the seventh seeds, will meet the fourth seeds from China, Ma Shang/Zhu Yi Jun.

Meanwhile in the mixed doubles number, Indonesia has two representatives. The two representatives are Adrian Pratama/Felisha Pasaribu and Jonathan Gosal/Priscila Elsadai.

Adrian/Felisha will meet Low Han Chen/Chong Jie Yu in the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, Jonathan/Priscilla met Kenta Matsukawa/Nao Yamakita from Japan.

The 2023 World Junior Championship quarter-final match will take place on Saturday (7/10) at 01.00 WIB.
