The Asian Games men’s soccer team, led by coach Hwang Seon-hong, will play Japan in the fateful final tomorrow.
Following their overtime victory five years ago, they will face Japan in the finals again, and if they win, they will make history by winning three consecutive Asian Games.

Hwang Seon-hong, who defeated Uzbekistan 2-1 in the semifinals, will take part in the fateful match between Korea and Japan.
The Asian Games men’s soccer team will compete against Japan for the gold medal at the Huanglong Sports Center Stadium.
After winning in overtime at the Jakarta-Palembang tournament five years ago, they faced each other again in the Asian Games finals.
If we win this match between Korea and Japan, our soccer team will make history by winning three consecutive Asian Games gold medals, following Incheon in 2014 and Jakarta in 2018.
In this year’s Hangzhou Asian Games, our national team won 6 games, scoring 25 goals and conceding 2 goals, and is ahead of Japan in the previous record of the under-23 national team with 7 wins, 4 draws, and 6 losses.
The performance of Jung Woo-young, who is clearly the top scorer of the tournament with 7 goals, and Lee Kang-in are also points to watch.
