Morlaye in conflict with his agent: a disagreement which risks ruining the player’s career

CONAKRY- The weather no longer shows good weather between Morlaye Sylla and his agent Mamadou Diallo, who have not been conjugating the same verb for months. For good reason, the Guinean international footballer is accused of having unilaterally broken the employment contract which binds him to the SPOCS sports agency represented in Guinea by Mamadou Diallo.

It is the latter which allowed Morlaye Sylla to realize his dream of playing in Europe and therefore to leave Horoya at the end of his contract. Except that for months, the Arouca player in Portugal has decided to end the contract with this agency which also manages Mohamed Salah from Liverpool. Which raised concerns and total incomprehension among his agent.

« First, the first agreement signed between the player and us was not respected. It said that we should receive 50% of the signing bonus. We preferred to let it go. Then, on the annual amount that we were to receive on the 10% of the contract (i.e. 24 thousand 300 dollars in 3 years), this money was not paid to us either. And to our astonishment, the player recently signed a contract with another agency even though we have a valid two-year contract. Now, he is being bamboozled by people, but we want to respect the content of our commitment which, unfortunately, has been violated. We have all the related documents. They (the player’s family) claim that Morlaye Sylla’s little brother had to travel to Portugal to respect the contract, which was not in our initial commitments. Now, justice will be done in this case and we are demanding our rights and compensation of 500 thousand dollars. Otherwise, the consequences on his career will be unfortunate, and it is he and his family who will be at the bottom. explains agent Mamadou Diallo, who announces a press conference this Saturday in Conakry to, he says, reveal all the contours around this soap opera.

Contacted by us, the family of Morlaye Sylla has not responded to our attempts for the moment, while on the side of the other accused in this case, Amadou Bangoura, former director of Horoya, we prefer to do without anything comment first. At this rate, this affair would risk damaging the career of Morlaye Sylla who would be the big loser, very unfortunately.
