Matchday two of the group phase Europa League 2023/2024 has finished playing. Below are the complete results of the match!
West Ham United achieved an away win over Freiburg in Group A match, Thursday (5/10/2023) evening WIB. The Hammers narrowly won 2-1, with Nayef Aguerd scoring his team’s winning goal.
Shifting to Group B, Brighton & Hove Albion won his first points in Europe. The Seagulls were able to hold Marseille to a 2-2 draw after being two goals behind.
A draw was also achieved ajax Amsterdam. The Dutch representative was held to a draw by Greek club, AEK Athens, with a score of 1-1.
In Group C there were Rangers who lost 1-2 to Aris Limassol and Real Betis who won 2-1 over Sparta Prague. Atalanta managed to steal points at Sporting CP headquarters 2-1 in the Group D match.
Liverpool vs Union Saint-Gilloise became a dish in Group E. The Reds won convincingly 2-0 via goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota.
From Group F there is Villarreal who won 1-0 when they hosted French representatives, Rennes. Meanwhile in Group G AS Roma party 4-0 against Servette.
Bayer Leverkusen also achieved victory in Group H. This German club narrowly won 2-1 at Molde headquarters.
