Jimena Barón, after announcing the fulfilled dream of buying her own house, immersed herself in her closet to begin organizing for the move and showed clothes and accessories that she had forgotten. One of them made her remember her time as a “botinera”.
“La Cobra”, in his Instagram stories, showed that he had come across an item that he did not remember having. “This is a purchase I made in Paris, in 2017. I was with Juan (Martín Del Potro), the tennis player. On that trip I made purchases like a loot shop, but with my money,” she began.
Then, he showed what he was talking about: some Chanel espadrilles still new in their box.
And he explained: “I forgot about this purchase. I bought this at Chanel, never wore it in my life and forgot about its existence. “I shopped as if I were Roger Federer’s wife, I bought with my money, my pesos… and I forgot them at the checkout.”
“I was a bootmaker, you will remember, and I lived with a lot of guilt about money. It wasn’t mine, I didn’t feel it was mine, it made me feel guilty. The father of the child there told me: ‘Come on, go, buy.’ And I said no and went to the outlets, to Zara, H&M, Bershka. I was such a rancid booty, it gave me something. “I regret it!” he continued.
“Later, with feminism, he attacked me like an attack, trying to buy into what I had told him not to. And here it is, because she sucks my egg. Like revenge with the things I didn’t accept from him. “I should have bought a studio apartment,” concluded Jimena.
Barón closed his story with advice for his followers: “Moral: accept. “Don’t be stupid.”
On the other hand, having talked about those times, he shared an old photo with Wanda Nara on the field: “Me, in the stadium, dressed in Bershka.”
