17th century melodies / 19th century melodies Love, death, nature, night, silence, jealousy, joy, drunkenness, faith, tenderness, absence… poets of all times sang these stainless themes, because they are simply human. From one century to the next, they are neither the same words, nor the same melodies, nor the same harmonies, but the emotion remains the same, whether it is expressed in French, in Italian, in Spanish, in English or German, whether it is accompanied by the theorbo or the romantic guitar, whether it is sung or played. Clélia and Marco Horvat therefore had fun imagining a program where, more than a century apart, the singers dialogue, respond to each other, echo each other… Clélia Horvat: vocals and cello Marco Horvat: vocals, theorbo, romantic guitar
