A fire raged for a short time in the asylum seeker center in Uithuizen. “It was extinguished by a resident himself, there were no casualties,” said a spokesperson for the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers.
As a precaution, everyone was sent outside and the fire brigade came to extinguish the fire.
