“Bravo, Plovdiv”: The Voice of Young People for Change

The voice of young people who want to change Plovdiv – this is how the candidates for municipal councilors and regional mayors of “Bravo, Plovdiv” can be described.

The association, which appears in the elections with the registration of “Bulgarian Progressive Line” under number 36, bets on young people showing great potential in their fields.

Thus, four of the candidates for regional mayors are under 35 years old, and in the lists for the Municipal Council 23 out of 51, or nearly 50% of the candidates. The youngest candidate for regional mayor is for “Trakiya” – Vasil Ganchev is only 23 years old.

Although the candidates are not policy experts, they are experts in their fields. Among young people there are already proven professionals in all spheres of public life – doctors, lawyers, engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists and others.

“These are people who are not burdened by politics, having a great desire to help their city, where they live, work and want to raise their children. The list for the Municipal Council is made so that young people and those of us with more experience find the balance in our decisions and proposals. The main voice in “Bravo, Plovdiv” is precisely the dozens of young people, and we – the more experienced ones – guide and help them”, declared the candidate for mayor of “Bravo, Plovdiv” Savina Petkova.

The chairman of the association, Veselin Kostov, said that the energy of young people is what distinguishes “Bravo, Plovdiv” from other formations participating in elections in Plovdiv.

“It is extremely energizing to see young people interested in the fate of their city and the future of their children. Candidates are extremely diverse people with an incredible arsenal of ideas that they want to realize. We are obliged to help them in this battle, which is only the beginning”, said Kostov.

“Bravo, Plovdiv” is number 36 in the integral ballot with the registration of the “Bulgarian Progressive Line” for mayor, district mayor and list for municipal councilors!
