Salburg’s tally stopped at only three points, which it had collected from its victory over Benfica of Portugal with two unanswered goals in the first round.
In the third group, the German team Union Berlin lost a 2-0 lead against its guest, Sporting Braga of Portugal, and lost 2-3.
Union Berlin advanced with two clean goals scored by Sheraldo Becker (3 and 37), before Sekou Nyakati scored a goal in the 41st minute for Sporting Braga, ending the first half with Union Berlin leading 2-1.
In the second half, Braga scored two goals through Broma and Andre Castro (51), and the fourth came from stoppage time for the match.
The Union Berlin team remained without a score at the bottom of the standings, as this loss was the second for the team after its defeat in the first round against the Spanish Real Madrid with a clean goal in the fatal time as well.
On the other hand, Braga scored its first 3 points in the current edition of the tournament, as it lost in the first round to Napoli 1-2.
