They did not overturn the referee’s decision to disallow Luis Diaz’s goal for offside. This decision sparked a sharp spotlight on the Premier League Referee Body (PGMOL), which recently often made mistakes.
PGMOL has admitted its fault for the incident, to which Liverpool responded with a request to open audio recordings of officials at the match. PGMOL has complied with the request.
