LJD-RJD Merger Conference: Strengthening the Secular Movement in India

Kozhikode – Lok Tantric Janata Dal (LJD) – Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) merger conference will be held in Kozhikode on 12th of this month. 15,000 workers will participate in the merger meeting at MK Premnath Nagar, Sarovaram, Calicut Trade Center on 12th, which is the memorial day of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia. Leaders like RJD national president and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and Rajya Sabha Party leader Manoj Jha will participate in the conference.

State President MV Shreyams Kumar said that LJD is a movement that has always upheld secular positions. The BJP-led central government is going ahead by destroying the constitutional values. To defeat them, as the largest socialist movement in the country, India is merging with the main component of the Front, RJD.

Shreyamskumar said that by merging with RJD, the democratic socialists of Kerala will take a big step towards national politics. Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav will hand over the RJD flag to MV Shreyamskumar on 12th.
