Hyderabad. A kindergarten student at a private school in Hyderabad died on Monday after a teacher allegedly beat him mercilessly for not doing his homework. Police said that 5 year old Hemant was beaten up on Saturday. He had fainted in school. After this he was taken to the hospital and where he died during treatment on Monday. There is a wave of mourning in the entire city due to the death of the student and people have demanded strict action against the accused teacher.
The police officer has said that investigation has been started in this matter. He said that other teachers, school children and other staff of the school will be questioned in this regard. The parents and other family members of the deceased boy protested with Hemant’s body in front of the school on Monday, demanding action against the teacher.
