Man in His 60s Arrested for Arson and Assault in Machine Factory Rent Dispute

A man in his 60s who hit the owner of a machine factory during an argument over rent, set fire to the owner and ran away was arrested by the police.

Incheon Gyeyang Police Station arrested Mr. A, a man in his 60s, on charges of arson and special injury.

Mr. A is accused of assaulting the factory owner, Mr. B, with a blunt object and then setting him on fire at a machinery manufacturing plant in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, on the evening of the 27th of last month.

Mr. A was a tenant who ran a machine repair business by renting a container in front of Mr. B’s factory.

It was discovered that he committed the crime when the container was removed after a dispute over rent and a lawsuit was filed against him.
