AOn the occasion of the episcopal visitation, a field mass was celebrated on the Buchberg with Auxiliary Bishop Anton Leichtfried.
The service was organized in collaboration with the parishes of Asperhofen, Eichgraben, Johannesberg, Maria Anzbach and Neulengbach. Pastor Wilhelm Schuh welcomed the co-celebrants Auxiliary Bishop Anton Leichtfried, Franz Dangl, pastor from Asperhofen-Johannesberg, Maria Anzbach’s mayor Karin Winter, Maria Anzbach’s deputy mayor Helmut Peter, mayor Harald Lechner from Asperhofen and the believers from the parishes.
Pastor Wilhelm Schuh thanked everyone who helped make it a harmonious mountain festival. “It was a wonderful collaboration between the parishes who prepared this mass, and I thank you for that.” He also thanked the two local fire departments, Maria Anzbach and Unter-Oberndorf, who used a shuttle service to bring visitors who could not walk up the mountain. Karl Satzinger provided the good sound, which was a challenge in the wind. The trade fair visitors were then invited to an agape.
