Indonesia Launches Southeast Asia’s First High-Speed Rail: Jakarta to Bandung in 45 Minutes

Indonesia put Southeast Asia’s first high-speed line into service on Monday, after four years of delays. The largely Chinese-backed project connects the capital Jakarta with Bandung, the capital of West Java, in 45 minutes.
