Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met on Monday in Abu Dhabi with the Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivan Kubrakov, and his accompanying delegation.
His Highness discussed with the Belarusian guest minister ways to strengthen and develop existing bilateral relations between the two countries, in a way that serves the aspirations of the leadership of the two countries and achieves growth and stability for their people.
His Highness signed, with the Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs, the security cooperation and anti-terrorism agreement between the governments of the two countries, which relates to ways to strengthen relations in the areas of combating terrorism and organized crimes, and exchanging experiences and knowledge in the police and security fields.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed regarding the recognition and replacement of driving licenses between the two countries. To facilitate the movement and movement of their citizens in the territory of the other party during their visit and residence.
