The first concert was held in the newest, futuristic-looking concert venue “Sphere” in Las Vegas – on September 29, the Irish rock group “U2” performed there, surprising the gathered audience with a grand and never-before-seen show.
On the outside, 1.2 million balls are arranged on the sphere’s body, each of which contains 48 individual LEDs, and each diode is capable of displaying 256 million different colors. The outside of the sphere is lit up every day and night by different kinds of animations, thus already becoming a regular part of the daily life of Las Vegas residents and guests.
On the other hand, those interested had the opportunity to see and hear for the first time what can be achieved in the amphitheater inside the Sphere. Inside the sphere, high-definition LED screens cover half of the 17,500-seat auditorium. It is equipped with thousands of speakers that provide a “crystal clear” multi-layered audio system at every seat.
