Feeling the end of the era of NFTs and crypto art? More and more evidence points to this. After celebrities like Paris Hilton and Jimmy Fallon actively supported NFTs in 2021, the market crashed. New report from Dappgambl shows that today 95% of all collections are worthless or worth pennies.
In addition, 79% of all crypto collections never found their buyer. Of those that have sold, only 1% are valued at $6,000 or more. Most NFTs, almost half, sell for between $5 and $100. Far from the millions that people invested in their digital works.
Of course, there are collections with a high nominal value, but their actual sales are minimal. For example, Dappgambl discovered an NFT collection worth $13 million, but actual sales were only $18—a difference of more than 722 thousand times. The decline in interest is noticeable not only in crypto art, but also in digital currencies, many of which have practically disappeared.
However, major players such as BitCoin and Etherium remain high in value, although their prices have fallen significantly from their peaks.
