Severe Storms and Thunderstorms Expected in Hesse, Germany after Cheerful Start to the Week

Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – After a cheerful start to the week in Hesse, the German Weather Service (DWD) is expecting stormy gusts, thunderstorms and rain from Tuesday. According to the DWD, there will be no precipitation on Monday and temperatures will rise to 24 to 26 degrees. The first light showers are expected to occur in the morning on Tuesday. According to the DWD, the rain will increase from midday onwards and thunderstorms can occur in the afternoon. Loosening is expected later in the evening, but isolated thunderstorms are still possible. According to the weather service, temperatures will rise to 21 to 25 degrees on Tuesday. For Wednesday, the DWD predicted a few light showers and a maximum of 16 to 20 degrees on Monday.
